Source -- Rams, Alaric Jackson reach 3-year, $57 million deal - ESPN

The Los Angeles Rams and offensive tackle Alaric Jackson have agreed to a three-year, $57 million contract, with $37 million guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler on Friday.

Jackson had been slated to enter free agency next month, but instead will stay in Los Angeles, where he'll continue to protect Matthew Stafford. The star quarterback agreed to a restructured deal with the Rams earlier Friday.

Jackson, 26, started 14 games for the Rams last season. He was suspended for the first two games for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy and was also inactive for the season finale after Los Angeles clinched the NFC West.

The left tackle was tied for the 26th-best pass-blocking grade among all offensive linemen (79.2) and ranked 20th among all offensive tackles in 2024, according to Pro Football Focus.

Jackson was playing on a one-year deal during the 2024 season after signing his restricted free agent tender for $4.89 million.

Jackson, who signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2021, has played in 41 games, starting 35, in his first four NFL seasons.
