Souness fears for Alli and says time could already be up at Everton
Graeme Souness believes Everton flop Dele Alli is already in the 'last chance saloon' on Merseyside.
Alli, 25, joined the Toffees on deadline day from Tottenham just a few hours after Frank Lampard took the reins at Goodison Park.
Milton-Keynes born Alli arrived on a free transfer on January deadline day, but could cost the club £30million through appearance and performance bonuses.
Since his move, he has failed to win over Lampard and is yet make a single start under the ex-Chelsea boss, making just six appearances from the bench.
Alli was an unused sub as he watched his side suffer a 2-1 defeat to West Ham at the London Stadium.
The 37-time England international, who has not featured for the Three Lions since 2019, was overlooked on Sunday with defender Mason Holgate taking the place of the injured Donny van de Beek in the middle of the midfield.
Souness, who has previously branded Alli a 'mystery' just one month after signing for the club, doesn't believe the player will be at Everton for long.
