Some WWE stars worried about Triple H becoming Head of Creative

On the whole, it seems like the majority of the wrestling world is excited about the appointment of Triple H as Head of Creative for WWE.

However, that isn’t a feeling shared by everyone it seems, as Dave Meltzer is reporting that some people on the WWE roster are worried about their positions on the card.

On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer explained that while some people on the WWE roster are definitely happy that Triple H has taken over, others are slightly concerned.

I’ve heard from some talent and generally they are positive. But there are definitely people who are worried that they’re gonna lose their spots, and there will be some people who will, because you’re gonna have different visions of who the top people are. And not everyone can be a top person.

Vince McMahon certainly had his favourites in WWE, and it seems like it could be those people who are worried that they won’t be viewed the same way under Triple H.

The names of Omos and Theory have been thrown about by fans as examples of wrestlers who were favourites of Vince McMahon, but may now struggle under Triple H.

Of course, no one really knows what’s going to happen under the Triple H regime of WWE, and it’s far too early to tell who he isn’t exactly the biggest fan of.

However, what is clear is that Triple H is going to be looking to push some newer stars, with Ciampa seemingly being at the top of that list.

Ciampa won two matches on last night’s episode of WWE Raw, earning a United States Championship match against Bobby Lashley in the process.

Reports have suggested that Ciampa is a favourite of Triple H, dating back to their time together in NXT, where the 37-year-old was booked as one of the brand’s top stars.
