Jeff Stelling was left in shock during this week's Soccer Saturday when footage played out of a proposal taking place in the stands of a football match.

In the same week it was confirmed that Jeff would be staying on the much loved Sky show, he reacted with disbelief when news reached him of a fan popping the question at Elland Road as Leeds United took on Southampton.

After Soccer Saturday returned from an ad break at the start of the second half action, Sky stalwart Jeff told viewers at home: "We will catch up on goals in a moment. Something far more important to tell you about that's happened at Elland Road at half time.

"Who says the age of romance is dead? This is what happened at Elland Road."
