Soccer Aid 2022 - when is it and how to get tickets for as Usain Bolt set for London return

Soccer Aid has established itself as a regular part of the footballing calendar since its inception in 2006. With celebrities and former players coming together to create some truly unmissable moments on a football pitch.

This year, West Ham legend Mark Noble will line-up for England in his last match before retirement. With former Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra among the stars from the World XI.

The latest edition of this annual event takes place in a matter of days at the London Stadium. Here’s how you can watch the game and what it’s all about.

Soccer Aid is due to take place on Sunday, June 12 2022. It will be hosted at West Ham United's London Stadium for the first time.

Tickets for the match can be purchased on the Soccer Aid website, and start at £20 for adults and £10 for children.

The likes of Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher and Liam Payne will be lining up for the England XI; with Patrice Evra and Martin Compston among those playing for the World team.

Soccer Aid is an annual charity football match which raises money for children’s charity UNICEF, last year it raised over £13million and since its inception 16 years ago has raised more than £60million. The first such event was organised by former Take That star Robbie Williams and the late former Newcastle chairman Freddy Shepherd.

Previous players who have graced this particular fixture include Paul Gascoigne, Tony Adams, Jamie Redknapp and Gianfranco Zola. Whilst a whole host of famous names have also taken part such as: Ben Shepherd, Craig David and Olly Murs.

Soccer Aid will be broadcast live on ITV and STV meaning it will be free for those who want to watch the event in the UK. Kick off will be at 7.30pm on Sunday, June 12, with coverage likely to
