Sligo sink Galway in injury-time to retain Connacht U20 title

Supersub Dillon Walsh was the hero for Sligo as he fisted over the winning point deep into stoppage time as Sligo retained the Connacht U-20 title with a thrilling 0-14 to 0-13 win over Galway at Tuam Stadium.

It's the first time ever a Sligo team has retained a Connacht title in any grade and they were good value for their win as they came from behind to shoot the closing three points of a brilliant contest.

Galway led by 0-07 to 0-06 after a first half where they were on top in the opening quarter but Sligo took over and dominated from there to the break.
