Sligo-Cavan postponed due to unplayable pitch
The Division 4 meeting of Sligo and Cavan has been postponed as heavy overnight rain took its toll on the Markievicz Park surface.
Sligo GAA tweeted this morning that a pitch inspection this morning had deemed the surface unplayable. A new date for the fixture has yet to announced.
In their statement, the GAA said the CCCC would confirm re-fixture details next week
As of now, it is the second of the weekend's Allianz Football League games to fall victim to the weather, with the Division 3 game between Fermanagh and Laois postponed on Saturday.
