Sky Sports man now slams Leeds star; claims he is to be left out of starting XI tomorrow

Leeds United fans have to wait all weekend to see their side in action, with the Whites taking on Crystal Palace on Monday night.

Supporters will be keen to see their side in action once again. The Whites didn’t have a game last weekend so will be refreshed and ready to go again.

Jesse Marsch is likely to have Junior Firpo back from injury to add to his team selection, however, former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson doesn’t believe the full back should be reinstated and slammed the former Barcelona full-back.

Talking to MOT Leeds News, Robinson detailed exactly what he thought on Firpo, explaining why he shouldn’t be reinstated into the starting lineup: “He’s given away far too many goals and far too many chances. I think they still need points on the board and they still need wins. It’s the case of picking the strongest team and at the moment, Stuart Dallas is the better player at left-back than Firpo has been.”

It’s not the first time in recent weeks that Robinson has decided to lambast Firpo, so it is clear that he simply isn’t a fan of the full back and would want him nowhere near his team.

Firpo’s switch from Barcelona has been disappointing, in his 19 Premier League games, he has only started in three wins. Clearly, he isn’t having the desired effect on the squad, who are still struggling. They now sit just five points above the drop zone, so safety is far from a guarantee.
