Skate 4 Leaks: Game Reportedly in Playtesting Phase

Skate 4 is one of the most anticipated titles in the upcoming EA Games catalogue, and according to leaks, the new game has entered the playtesting phase.

Skate 4 is the name that fans have been giving to the new skate. title, and it has been nearly twelve years since the release of Skate 3 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Despite the age of the previous game in the series, fans have been hounding EA ever since to get back into the skateboarding genre and bring a new era of the Skate franchise to next-gen consoles.

According to respected industry insider Tom Henderson, Skate 4 has entered the playtesting phase on Origin.

Writing for Exputer, Henderson revealed that: “Sources have said that the game is well into its QA phase, which is news that can now be revealed via Origin’s API. Under the name ‘Project Dingo’ the title has now started active internal playtesting via Origin, as can be seen below.”

There’s still currently no indication as to when Skate 4 will actually be getting a retail release, but this is promising news for players.

Gamers have been reacting to the latest leaks for the game on r/GamingLeaksandRumours, with many excited at the prospect of potentially getting the game sooner rather than later.

One Redditor noted: “Hope it’ll be great. been wanting a new Skate game since Skate 3, and have been playing Session and Skater XL to fill the gap on waiting.”
