Six Premier League fixtures that may define Arsenal and Mikel Arteta's season amid top-four race

With the transfer window now behind them, Arsenal can solely focus on trying to secure qualification for next season's Champions League.

The Gunners arguably weakened their squad in January, as several squad players - including former club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - departed the club, whilst Edu and the board failed to bring anyone in for the next six months.

That being said, there's a notable togetherness at the Emirates Stadium this season that's been absent from Arsenal sides in recent years, and that may give the Gunners the push they need to finish in the Premier League's top four.

Mikel Arteta's team also have a slight advantage in the sense that they're no longer competing in the cup competitions, meaning they will usually have more time to recover in between games than their top-four rivals.

Still, to achieve their goal, they need to accumulate as many points as possible, especially against the clubs who can beat them to the Champions League spots.

Arsenal travel to Molineux on February 10 in what will be the first time Wolves and the Gunners meet this campaign.
