'Sign him' - Nottingham Forest fans go wild over more brilliance from Aston Villa's Keinan Davis

Nottingham Forest fans showered Keinan Davis with praise after he conjured up an incredible assist as the Reds took the lead at Blackburn in the Championship.

Picking the ball up just before the halfway line, Davis held off three challenges, surged into the Blackburn half before playing a fine pass into James Garner who made no mistake in firing the Reds ahead.

Sky Sports' commentators were quick to highlight the brilliance of Davis' assist just days after he produced an imperious display in the 4-1 FA Cup win over Leicester City.

Forest fans were mightily impressed by his contribution on social media and here's what they had to say on Twitter about Davis who is on loan from Villa until the end of the season.

"Incredible tenacity from Davis to hold off three and then steady himself to play in Garner, who shows great composure and produces a cool finish. Get in."

"Get Davis signed now."

"Davis has clearly activated beast mode for the game tonight!"

: "Davis has been amazing so far this game and against Leicester at the weekend."

: "Keinan Davis unplayable at moment."

: "’I'd take Davis on a permanent 100%, the amount he offers is unreal. Top quality striker, saw his goal record but he’s proved me and a lot of people wrong."

"Sign Davis…. Now."

"No one has deserved a goal in the past few weeks more than Garner, but Davis that was Tevez in his prime."
