Inconsistent would be the word to describe Aston Villa's season with just two months remaining. From the highs of beating Everton twice, Man United, Palace and Leeds away and Leicester to the most-recent lows in defeat to West Ham and Arsenal.

Martinez has missed just one Premier League game at Chelsea after being forced to quarantine following international duty. Manchester United away was a standout game for him, as was Brighton at home when he made two crucial saves before Villa went on to win. The South American should chalk up double figures for clean sheets once again. Another solid season.

The only member of the squad to start all 29 Premier League games. Cash has really kicked on since the turn of the year and has become a real threat in Villa's attacking third. Three goals and three assists from right-back this season and a series of strong performances to boot. Right up there for player of the year, it has to be said.
