Shoppers set to love Aldi's new £2.99 lip treatments that are like luxury £18 product

Beauty lovers looking for a bargain may want to rush to Aldi as the store launches its own line of lip treatments said to resemble a designer version. The Lacura peptide lip treatments (£2.99) will be available from September 15.

Created with shea butter, peptide, and capuacu the treatments promise to provide “long-lasting hydration that will restore dry lips for a visibly softer, plumper and glossy finish”. The product has been likened to Hailey Bieber’s Rhode Skin lip treatments, which currently retail for around £18.

These have gone viral on social media including on TikTok where videos about the product have amassed more than 60 million views.

Aldi said: “Priced at just £2.99 each, the new additions hit shelves as lip care becomes a substantiated step in everyday regimens, with beauty lovers seeking products that are hydrating and barrier-reparative.

“Available in stores from 15th September, the Lacura must-haves are specially formulated with shea butter, peptide, and capuacu.

“Available in three variants, unscented, watermelon and salted caramel, the high-performing treatments promise to provide long-lasting hydration that will restore dry lips for a visibly softer, plumper and glossy finish.”

The Rhode Skin lip treatments come in scents of unscented, rhode vanilla, watermelon slice and salted caramel and can be bought from the Rhode Skin website for £18.
