Shocking scenes as fan storms the ring in the middle of Deji vs Alex Wassabi fight

Deji vs Alex Wassabi is the latest big fight in the world of YouTube boxing.

Ever since Joe Weller and Deji’s brother, KSI, slugged it out in 2018, the world of online content creators stepping between the ropes has become as popular as it is wild and wacky.

With Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather have slugged it out and Jake Paul taking on a series of former UFC fighters, the sky really is the limit when it comes to influencers pulling on the gloves.

And there was plenty of interest when Deji attempted to score his first win in the square circle at Wembley Arena on Saturday night as part of the Showstar UK VS USA YouTube Boxing event.

The online British star with more than 10 million subscribers on YouTube had previously suffered defeats to Jake Paul and Vinnie Hacker for a disappointing record of 0-2.

And although he entered the ring this weekend looking in better shape than ever, Deji’s big moment was overshadowed by a worrying moment when a fan invaded the bout.

After around 90 seconds of the second round, everyone took a sharp intake of breath as an attendee fan between the ropes and towards the fighters out of absolutely nowhere.

The fan looked absolutely incensed and seemed to be shouting at the two fighters by the time that security apprehended him, thankfully without any serious danger having been posed.
