Shirt numbers available to Christian Eriksen as he verbally agrees to Manchester United move

Christian Eriksen has a wide range of shirt numbers to choose from at Manchester United should he make the move to Old Trafford this summer.

The Denmark international has verbally agreed to join United after spending the second half of last season at Brentford. Eriksen returned to the Premier League in January after suffering a cardiac arrest at Euro 2020.

Eriksen would go on to make 11 appearances for the Bees before he left the club at the end of his short-term deal. MEN Sport understands that the 30-year-old has agreed to a three-year contract at Old Trafford and that United are currently drawing up the paperwork.

No.8

Another midfielder who has left United recently is former No.8 Juan Mata. Wayne Rooney and Sir Bobby Charlton did wear the shirt for a short period of time but it was also claimed by Nicky Butt and Paul Ince.

No.12

The No.12 shirt has been vacant since the 2019/20 season when Chris Smalling wore it. Before Smalling it was worn by Phil Neville as well as his brother Gary for a short period of time.

No.13

Unlucky for some, the No.13 shirt is now vacant following Lee Grant's departure. It was notably worn by Ji-sung Park during his time at Old Trafford.

No.14

Jesse Lingard has also left
