Sheridan Smith replaced by music icon on ITV Starstruck
Sheridan Smith has been replaced by Queen of Country Pop Shania Twain as a judge on the ITV talent show Starstruck as it returns for a second series. The mother-of-one was a judge on the first series with Queen singer Adam Lambert, singing superstar Beverley Knight and comedian and West End star Jason Manford.
But due to her work commitments The Railway Children actress, who earlier this year starred in the dramas No Return and The Teacher, won't be on the judging panel for series two. An ITV spokesperson previously told MailOnline: "We would have loved Sheridan to have returned to the show but she has sadly had to decline due to scheduling conflicts with a new acting project.
"The team absolutely loved working with her, she was a fantastic judge and provided some invaluable feedback to the contestants. We wish her all the best," they added. You're Still The One singer Shania will take her place on the panel for the new series in 2023.

The five-time Grammy winner, who has sold more than 100 million albums sold worldwide, is the top-selling female country pop artist of all time. She will sit on the panel with returning judges Adam, Beverley and Jason. Pop star Olly Murs will once again host the show, which sees members of the public transformed into their musical icons.
Starstruck launched in February with 4.7 million viewers tuning into its first episode, making the show one of the biggest new entertainment commissions of the year. Series one featured performers impersonating stars including Harry Styles, Barbra Streisand and Elton John and Rachael Hawnt was crowned the winner for her uncanny
