Sharks welcome Neil Powell to Durban but he is not quite done with Blitzboks yet

The Sharks have an interesting addition to their coaching team this week with Blitzboks mentor Neil Powell joining up with the coastal franchise for a brief spell.

Powell will only officially join the coaching staff later in the year when his tenure with the Blitzboks comes to and after the World Sevens Series. 

He was an interested spectator as the team were put through their paces on Tuesday in preparation for their crucial United Rugby Championship clash against the Bulls on Saturday. 

Powell is expected to handle defence coaching when he takes up his permanent role at the Sharks.  

Kick-off in that match on Saturday is at 17:05.
