Sharks make backline tweaks for Cheetahs Currie Cup clash

Sharks head coach Etienne Fynn has named his team to tackle the Cheetahs in a Currie Cup clash in Durban on Wednesday.

Fynn kept the same pack that did duty in the 35-21 defeat to the Bulls in Pretoria last week, but made three changes to his backline.

Following his quality efforts off the bench last week, Ethan Fisher replaces Murray Koster at inside centre, while Jeremy Ward comes in for Marnus Potgieter at outside centre.

Jordan Chait, who was a late replacement for Tito Bonilla when the Argentinean flyhalf was forced out of the game due to food poisoning last week, comes in at fullback in place of Inny Radebe, with Bonilla taking his position at 10.

Good news on the injury front sees Dylan Richardson returning to action, having been named on the bench.

The Cheetahs are top of the standings with five wins from five (22 points), while the Sharks are third (18 points) with four wins from five.

Wednesday's clash at Kings Park kicks off at 17:45.
