Shaq, Charles Barkley Destroy Kendrick Perkins On National TV

Dynamic TNT duo Charles Barkley and Shaq shut down ESPN's Kendrick Perkins after the latter made incendiary comments about them.

Perkins tried getting into it with the TNT guys after they called the Knicks a first-round exit team. Perk said the two don't watch enough basketball to share their opinions on the Knicks.

Though the ESPN analyst wished for a beef to put his name in the headlines, Shaq and Barkley ended the fight before it started.

In a one-sided battle, Shaquille O'Neal and Barkley — Hall of Famers — responded with knockout hits aimed at Perk.

During Tuesday night's ‘Inside the NBA' broadcast, a sneaky video tribute honoring the newly retired Blake Griffin showed a video callback featuring Griffin dunking all over Perkins. 

"We don’t watch the Knicks games, Chuck, but I watched that game," Big Diesel said.

It's worth noting that Perkins was hardly revered on the basketball court, often making his insights on the game a bit of a head-scratcher. 

Barkley emphatically dissed Perkins on Wednesday.

Chuck said, "5 points a game gone call me out?"

It's true: Perkins averaged 5.4 points per game throughout his mid-career.

Tons of NBA fans dropped out of listening to Perkins on television after he admitted to not voting for Nikola Jokic as his MVP last year over the Serb's skin color.

No matter how it's viewed, Perkins was never the player or analyst of Shaq and Barkley's level.
