Sekhukhune United announce Brandon Truter as new head coach
Sekhukhune United have announced Brandon Truter as new head coach on a three-year deal.
The experienced Truter replaces Kaitano Tembo, who was recently sacked amidst ongoing poor results.
In a statement, the club said: "Sekhukhune United Football Club is delighted to announce the appointed of Brandon Truter as Head Coach on a contract until 2025.
"Truter joins 'Babina Noko' after having impressed the Board with his long-term vision for returning the team to the level the team want to compete at, coupled to his drive and determination in achieving that.
"Truter will be assisted my MacDonald Makhubedu as the only assistant, in a revamped Technical Team with further announcements to be made in due course.
"Meanwhile former Assistant Coach Thabo Senong has been appointed as Head of Development."
On his latest appointment, Truter stated: "It is with great honour to be appointed as head coach to this ambitious club, and I'm hugely excited by the challenge ahead. There's a lot of work ahead of us and I'm eager to get the ball rolling and start working with the players.
"I would like to thank the chairman of the club, Simon Malatji, and his board for the confidence in me and I greatly appreciate the opportunity."

Truter has a tough job on his hands as his new side sit a lowly 15th in the DStv Premiership.
However, Truter could not have chosen a better time to join the club as the sport is about to embark on a FIFA month-long break, leaving him with plenty of time to assess his squad.
