The Waterford man beat Sungjae Im 5&4 in his first Group 4 match on Wednesday and followed that up with a hugely impressive 5&4 victory over world number four Patrick Cantlay.
On Friday Power went down 2&1 to USA opponent Kieth Mitchell, but he has done enough to make it through to the weekend's knockout phase. He'll face Tyrrell Hatton on Saturday.
He began the week ranked 48th in the world and needs to remain in the top 50 on Sunday evening to secure an invite to Augusta National. That mission is also now complete, and Power will be lining up at the major for the first time in his career.
