Scorpio Sky calls out former TNT Champion

Two-time TNT Champion Scorpio Sky has been a dominant Champion in AEW. However, his frustrations grow as he feels the AEW fans want someone else to be the face of TNT.

Speaking recently on the AEW Unrestricted Podcast, Scorpio Sky discussed his TNT title reigns and compared his rise to stardom to that of NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks.

Sky said he isn’t considered a “star-calibre guy that used to work for Vince McMahon” but states he is better and oozed confidence that he could beat anyone who stepped into the ring with him .

He would follow up by calling out a former TNT Champion who returned to Dynamite this past Wednesday, this being Miro.

Miro returned to answer the open challenge of Johnny Elite, in which he looked stronger, faster and better than ever, disposing of Elite with ease by making him tap via the Game Over submission.

Sky would comment on Miro prior to his return as the podcast was recorded before the Double Or Nothing Pay-Per-View.

Sky stated: “Not a day goes by that I get several tweets saying Miro should be the champion and not me. So I would like to extend an invitation for him to come and take this from me. So Miro if you’re out there? You want it. Come and get it.”

In the vignette during his return on Dynamite, Miro made it clear stating ” you will make me your champion or you will make me your enemy”, whether this is another quest at TNT gold or the AEW World Championship, it seems The Redeemer has gold on his mind.
