The Buffaloes' season will also bring plenty of NFL royalty and celebrities to the sidelines. Pro Football Hall of Famer Terrell Owens was present for the season opener and hyped up Travis Hunter in pregame warmups. During the second quarter, Hunter caught a one-handed pass and though he was out of bounds, Owens was there to pick up Hunter and show his excitement.

During Colorado's opening drive, Shedeur connected on a 41-yard pass with Hunter for the Buffaloes first touchdown of the season. James, a fan of Shedeur and Hunter, took his excitement of the duo's chemistry to social media.
