Saturday sport: Man United lead Burnley, Spurs trail against Bournemouth

Manchester United have had a stroke of fortune to take the lead against Burnley in the Premier League.

A header crashed off the post before cannoning off Republic of Ireland international Josh Cullen into the back of his own net.

It means the hosts lead 1-0 at Old Trafford at half time.

Elsewhere it's Wolves 1 Everton 2. Beto and Iliman Ndiaye with the goals for the visitors.

Tottenham are 1-0 down at home to Bournemouth and it is scoreless between Sunderland and Brentford.

The early game finished in a 2-0 win for Chelsea at home to Fulham.

Athlone Town are the first League of Ireland Women's team to qualify for European competition in over a decade.
