This was supposed to be the season of Dean Henderson's arrival as the new No.1, but instead it has seen the resurgence of David de Gea and a reminder of how talented the Spaniard is.
De Gea is leading the way to being United's own Player of the Season again this campaign and has made a number of standout saves which only he could manage.
It speaks volumes that he has kept his place, even since Ralf Rangnick took charge of the club, but it will be fascinating to see how the next manager treats the goalkeeping department given the Spaniard's issues as a sweeper keeper.
