Sadio Mane snubbed handshake from Senegal president to celebrate like Roberto Firmino

Sadio Mane is yet to return to Liverpool after leading Senegal to the first ever AFCON triumph.

Mane scored the winning penalty in the final shootout against Egpyt, making amends for the spot-kick missed in the first half.

After lifting the trophy, he couldn’t hide his delight at what he claimed to be the most ‘important’ trophy of his career so far.

“I am very proud and I think it is the best moment of my life ever.

“This day I think it is the best day. I won the Champions League and some trophies but I think this is the special one for me, this is more important for me,” Mane told Goal after the game.

After winning the tournament in Cameroon, Mane and his Senegalese teammates flew back to their country to continue their celebrations. And the scenes we witnessed were pretty incredible.
