Sachin Tendulkar Reveals His Only 'Special Request' To BCCI For Farewell Match At Wankhede

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar revealed, "Before the series for my last match was announced, I reached out to the BCCI with one request: I wanted my final match to be held in Mumbai for a very special reason. Despite playing cricket for nearly 30 years-24 of them for India-my mother had never seen me play live.

At the time, her health wasn't good enough for her to travel anywhere except Wankhede. I wanted her to see, firsthand, why I had been traveling to different places for 24 years.
