Oosthuizen outduelled compatriot Charl Schwartzel for a two-shot victory. Oosthuizen finished the tournament at 18-under and Schwartzel 16-under.
Play was extended to Monday after a storm saw Sunday's final round suspended.
When the players left the course on Sunday, Oosthuizen and Schwartzel were tied for the lead on 16-under par through seven holes. But Oosthuizen finished with a three-under 69 in the final round, compared to Schwartzel's one-under 71.

Oosthuizen did well to hold his composure at the end after his drive on the par five found water and he needed four shots to reach the island green.
But the 2010 Open Championship winner then holed a long putt to save par and retain his two-stroke advantage over Schwartzel, who also finished with a five.
"I really, really wanted to win this one on an unbelievable course," Oosthuizen said.
"A bad swing got me into trouble on 18, but I recovered and feel calm now. Battling for first place with Charl was a wonderful experience."
It was Oosthuizen's 10th win on the DP World Tour (formerly called European Tour).
