S Club 7 announce reunion tour to celebrate 25th anniversary - and they're coming to Manchester

S Club 7 have announced a reunion tour to celebrate their 25th anniversary. After months of speculation, the British pop group finally revealed they will be returning to arenas across the UK this October - and they are coming to Manchester.

'The S Club 7 Reunited' tour will see all seven members Rachel Stevens, Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O’Meara, Jon Lee, Paul Cattermole and Tina Barrett come together for an 11-date arena tour across venues in the UK and Ireland.

The group, who sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, had four multi-platinum selling albums, won two BRIT Awards, and nine number-one international hit singles, including 'Bring It All Back' and 'Don't Stop Moving'.

The band were originally created by former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller in 1998. They disbanded 2003 but briefly came back together in 2014 to perform a medley of their best-known songs for the BBC Children In Need appeal.

Speaking on coming back together, the band said in a statement: "After eight years it feels amazing to announce that we're reuniting and performing together again. We're so excited to bring the S Club Party back to our fans across the country to celebrate 25 years of S Club 7.

"We can't even believe it's been so long. Music and friendship have always been at the core of everything that we've ever done. We hope everyone can join us for one big party."

The band will go on an 11-date tour of the UK, and will be calling at Manchester's AO Arena on October 21.

Tickets for 'S Club 7 Reunited' go on sale at 10:00am GMT on Friday (February 17) via Ticketmaster.
