One of the most important parts of preparing for your trip abroad is your luggage. You want to make sure you're bringing your best summer clothes - or your favourite snow gear - so your holiday can go off without a hitch.

But before you get packing those your bags, it's important to be aware of the latest airline baggage information. If you break the current weight allowances, size restrictions, and hand luggage rules you could face a hefty fine. To make your trip easier, we've pulled together the latest cabin bag information for Ryanair, EasyJet, TUI, BA and Jet2 with the help of the ECHO.

All passenger fare types include a small personal bag, which must fit under the seat in front of you. The small personal bag must be a maximum size of 40x20x25cm.

Over-sized cabin baggage will be refused at the boarding gate, or where available, placed in the hold of the aircraft for a fee of €/£69.99. Ryanair recommends checking it in at the bag drop desk before security if you are unsure whether your bag is the correct size.

All customers can bring onboard one small cabin bag. This has to be a maximum size of 45 x 36 x 20cm including any handles or wheels.
