Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney try out football commentary in hilarious video

A video has emerged online of Wrexham AFC co-chairmen Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney performing some light hearted commentary on the Dragons' most recent match. The video has been posted on the official Wrexham AFC Twitter account.

All three goals scored in the match, a 2-1 victory for the Reds, are shown along with some amusing insight from the Hollywood pair. The game saw Phil Parkinson's men clinch victory with a last-gasp winner from James Jones.

Wrexham will now face Stockport County in the semi final of the FA Trophy. The winner will secure a place at Wembley for the final, which takes place on Sunday, May 22.

In the short video, the pair make light of a few instances which took place during the match, such as Ben Tozer drying the ball before taking a long throw and Notts County players gathering during a drinks break. The pair then finish their commentary with McElhenney referencing the fact that Wrexham have now gone seven games unbeaten before both sign off by exclaiming "up the Town".

Reynolds, who took over ownership of the club last year alongside McElhenney, recently said that getting into football had been the "best and the worst thing" to happen to him. The co-chairman of Wrexham AFC spoke about the "gorgeous torture" of the beautiful game whilst appearing on the ITV daytime show Lorraine.

Reynolds' co-chairman McElhenney also spoke publicly about the club recently - revealing when he expects to return to Wrexham. The It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star also talked about what he has learned in the 12 months since the takeover was finalised.

Wrexham return to National League action this Saturday with a difficult away fixture at Bromley. The Dragons are currently lying in third position in the table
