Ryan Garcia likens trainer Joe Goossen to Mike Tyson's old coach Cus D'Amato

Ryan Garcia insists his trainer Joe Goossen is similar to Mike Tyson‘s legendary boxing coach Cus D’Amato.

The American is currently preparing for his return to the ring following back-to-back finishes of Luke Campbell and Francisco Fonseca.

In Goossen, Garcia recognises something of a kindred spirit.

Moreover, he also claims he has finally found someone who he can rely on day in day out.

“Joe has the same mentality as me when it comes to training,” he
