Ruben Amorim press conference LIVE Man United team news and injury updates vs Brighton

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim will address the media this afternoon ahead of the Premier League clash with Brighton and Hove Albion.

United are looking to make it three straight Premier League victories this weekend after beating Liverpool last time out.

Amorim will be asked to give an injury update and provide some early team news heading into the clash.

Transfers may also come up this afternoon following news that Joshua Zirkzee will be looking to seal an exit away from Old Trafford in January.

A win for United this weekend would put them back in the mix for Europe qualification. The Reds sit ninth in the table after last Sunday's win, having taken 13 points from their opening eight games. They are just two points behind Liverpool and a win this weekend would see them continue to build on the momentum of recent weeks.

Follow all the updates from Amorim's press conference below...

United are looking strong at present ahead of the clash with Brighton.

Mazraoui was a doubt heading into the Liverpool game but he managed to be fit enough to make the bench. Martinez is expected to be the only player missing from the squad again.

However, he is closing in on a return in November.

Amorim will address the media this afternoon at 1.15pm. However, what he says will be embargoed until 1.30pm.

Once that embargo lifts, we shall bring you everything he spoke about in the first part of his press conference.

Hello and welcome to our live blog of Amorim's pre-Brighton press conference.

We will bring you everything he has to say this afternoon ahead of the Brighton clash, including team news and injury updates as United look to make it three wins in a row after last Sunday's excellent 2-1 win over Liverpool.

Stay tuned
