RTÉ to show all Nations League and Euro 2025 games live

RTÉ Sport have announced that it will show all six of the Republic of Ireland's men's UEFA Nations League Group B2 games – kicking off with the big one, England at home in the Aviva Stadium, on Saturday 7 September.

As new head coach Heimir Hallgrimsson gets his feet under the table, Ireland then take on Greece at the Aviva Stadium on Tuesday 10 September before a double-header of away games against Finland on Thursday 10 October followed by Greece away on Sunday 13 October.

The UEFA Nations League campaign wraps up in November with Finland at home on Thursday 14 November and England away on Sunday 17 November.

Eileen Gleeson's women's side, meanwhile, will be in Euro 2025 play-off action, also live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player.

Should Ireland overcome Georgia they’ll face either Wales or Slovakia over two legs for a place in next summer’s finals.

RTÉ have further announced that, through a landmark agreement between the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and UEFA, it has acquired comprehensive media rights for the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 insuring that the entire tournament will be live on RTÉ.

Declan McBennett, RTÉ Group Head of Sport, said "For many years we have placed women’s sport at the heart of our coverage including the Women’s Euros in 2022 and the World Cup last year in Australia.

"We are delighted that every game from EURO 2025 will be carried by RTÉ and we desperately hope our national team carve their own path to Switzerland via the playoffs."
