Roy Keane twice made his thoughts on daughters dating clear - 'Are you kidding me?'
Manchester United hero Roy Keane has a surprisingly relaxed stance on his daughters' dating lives.
Despite his reputation as a tough-tackling midfielder during his illustrious playing career, Keane's off-pitch persona, particularly when it comes to parenting, is markedly different. The 53-year-old pundit, known for his no-nonsense analysis, is a father to five children with his wife Theresa, whose names are Shannon, Caragh, Leah, Alanna, and Aidan.
Many would assume that Keane would be fiercely protective over his daughters, particularly when they are dating. Yet, the often fiery Irishman revealed that he is more laid back and trusting when it comes to those who date his children.
In an appearance on The Tommy Tiernan Show, when asked about the challenges of fatherhood, specifically regarding his children's romantic partners, Keane surprised everyone by indicating he's not the overbearing type. In response to the question: "What's the toughest part of being a father", Keane pondered momentarily until Tiernan said: "Are you f***ing kidding me?"
Keane, with a dismissive shrug and shake of his head, replied: "No, they're ok. Listen, when they get a bit older, I suppose boyfriends and that type of carry on, yeah that can be [difficult]."

The iconic Irish midfielder showed a surprisingly relaxed approach when discussing potential suitors for his children.
