Roy Keane mocks Gary Neville when discussing his Manchester United career

Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has mocked Gary Neville when discussing his career at Old Trafford.

Keane and Neville played alongside each other at Old Trafford for well over a decade, winning just about every trophy on offer during that period. However, this success did not stop Keane poking fun at Neville when the pair appeared on Sky Sports' Super Sunday.

Speaking after Manchester City's draw with Liverpool, the former full-back began: "What I admire from a defensive point of view, you could never get [Jamie Carragher] or me or you [Micah Richards] to push high up the pitch with 10 minutes to go - the nerve to do that under the highest pressure, against the best opponents, best passers, the best runners is unbelievable.

"We’ve seen Arsenal do it in the past, never like these two teams. They are the two best teams in Europe doing it and that takes moments."

Richards was quick to respond: "I was lightning. Don’t put me in the same category as you and Carra, don’t you dare."

Before Keane joked: "You ( Neville ) were dropping deep at the end of your career, I have to say. You were behind the goal at one stage."
