Rosier, Lubbe tons help seal Warriors' first One Day Cup win, Dragons remain unbeaten

The Warriors have handed the Dolphins their third defeat as the Lions cruised to victory against the Rocks in the CSA One Day Cup on Monday.

At St George's Park, the hosts put on a mammoth 329/6 thanks to Diego Rosier and Wihan Lubbe both making centuries.

Rosier top-scored with 148 off 127 balls, while Lubbe scored 100 off 106 balls. Kerwin Mungroo was the pick of the Dolphins bowlers as he bagged two for 56

Proteas batter Sarel Erwee stood tall as his 64 was the only resistance for the visitors before they were bundled out for 121.

Spinner Tsepo Ndwandwa took three for 20, while Tiaan van Vuuren picked up three for 30 as the Warriors won by 208 runs.

Meanwhile, Joshua Richards and Reeza Hendricks hit half-centuries as the Lions defeated the Rocks at Boland Park.

Rocks skipper Pieter Malan scored 104 off 125 balls and Ruan Terblanche scored 51 as they posted 224 all out in their 50 overs.

Fast bowler Sisanda Magala continued his fine form as he took six for 46 and Malusi Siboto claimed four for 32.

In reply, Richards scored 67 and Hendricks made 56 as the Lions cruised to a six-wicket victory with seven overs to spare in Paarl.

At Mangaung Oval, the North West Dragons continued their streak as they defeated the Knights in Bloemfontein.

Knights skipper Pite van Biljon scored 65 and Raynard Van Tonder made 51 as the hosts posted 279/7 in 50 overs.

Dragons opener Lesego Senokwane scored 65, Delano Potgieter's 54 and Shaylin Pillay's 52 steered the visitors get on top of the run rate.

The Dragons won by three wickets to remain unbeaten in the tournament thus far.
