To look for United’s last win at Liverpool you have to go all the way back to the Louis van Gaal era. In January of 2016, United won 1-0 thanks to a 78th minute Wayne Rooney goal, which was his 176th top-flight goal for the club and was a new record for the most Premier League goals scored by a player for one club.
