Ronnie O'Sullivan losing his composure after snooker fan farts in audience

Ronnie ‘The Rocket’ O’Sullivan is widely recognised as one of the best, most talented players in the history of snooker.

He holds the record for the most ranking titles with 38, becoming the youngest to ever win a title at 17 years and 358 days, as well as being ranked world number one on multiple occasions.

Currently, he’s ranked as world number two.

So, with that immense history behind him, he has become known for being calm and composed, but that’s not always the case…

The atmosphere at a snooker match is infamously tense and you could carve through the atmosphere with a knife. You would almost certainly hear a pin drop in there, though, we doubt anyone has ever tried.

Having said that, one thing someone has done in the arena might take you by surprise.

During their WST Pro Series campaigns, on March 16, 2021, Ronnie O’Sullivan met Tom Ford. As the match progressed, The Rocket found himself behind to Ford when something quite outrageous happened. A very audible farting sound emerged from the audience which gradually cracked the unshakable nature of Ronnie.

He did well to continue the frame, attempting to keep up his stern look, but as the game advanced and he moved around the table, he saw the funny side.

His laugh began as a quiet chuckle, joining in on others who had started to acknowledge the sound, but due to the silent nature of the sport, they tried to keep it low level.

This didn’t last long because just as Ronnie went to take another shot he paused. His cue was positioned upwards and he stood for a while to bask in the ridiculousness of it all. You could tell his face was trying to keep his reaction discrete, but he couldn’t hold it in.

He bellowed a laugh and became breathless
