Rohit Sharma To Leave Mumbai Indians? LSG Dreaming Of Signing Him In IPL 2025 Auction

All isn't well at Mumbai Indians, and it isn't a secret anymore. The change in captaincy at the franchise, from Rohit Sharma to Hardik Pandya, left a bitter taste in the mouths of certain fans. As a result, Hardik has had to face boos and jeers from the crowd no matter which stadium he has played in this Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 campaign. There are suggestions that Rohit could be looking to move on from MI before the IPL 2025 season. While such suggestions are still premature, Lucknow Super Giants seem to be interested in signing the Team India captain.

In a video on their YouTube channel, LSG could be seen flirting with the idea of going for Rohit Sharma in the IPL 2025 mega auction.

In the video, the interviewer could be heard asking LSG coach Justin Langer which player would he sign if he could sign absolutely anyone.

"One guy I want? Hmmm... if I could have anyone.... who do you think?" Langer asked the for his views instead. The interviewer then weighed in saying: "We have most of our bases covered. But do you think you can get Rohit Sharma?"

Langer, with an astonishing look on his face, said: "Rohit Sharma? Hahaha. We're going to get him from Mumbai... Well, you better be the negotiator."
