Robby McCrorie Rangers transfer exit option narrows as 'interested' club handed major keeper boost

St Mirren boss Stephen Robinson has expressed his delight over Trevor Carson getting the all clear and hopes to have the experienced goalkeeper available for the opening game of the season.

Robinson told Renfrewshire Live Sport: "The only good news I've had all day is Trevor Carson getting the all clear. Hopefully he'll be available for the first league game.

"Unfortunately we couldn't carry that good news into the game."
