River Island fans flock to buy 'unreal' £35 winter boots that look just like £145 UGGs

River Island fans are rushing to get their hands on a £35 pair of boots which have been described as 'unreal', and are said to be 'perfect' for the chilly winter months. The high-street boots could easily be mistaken for a highly-desired designer pair, and can be paired with virtually any dress, or pair of leggings and tights when it's cold outside.

River Island's Brown Faux Fur Lining Platform Boots have been compared to UGG's Classic Ultra Mini Boots, which are notoriously hard to get your hands on, but cost £110 less. While the UGG version costs a pricey £145, River Island's offering is just £35.

The £35 River Island Brown Faux Fur Lining Platform Boots feature a chunky platform sole, which will add height while being comfortable enough to wear all day. They have a luxurious faux-fur lining for added warmth, while their midi ankle cut will flatter and slim the calves.

Available in sizes 2 to 9, the boots come in two colourways. Fashion fans can choose from Brown Faux Fur, Black Faux Fur, Brown Faux Fur and Beige Monogram Faux Fur, which has a print reminiscent of brand Gucci.

The boots have already gone viral on TikTok, where Rachel Handley posted a video of them. Writing in the caption, she said: “Girls run! You need these platform ugg dupes in river island, super cosy and an essential for autumn."

Somebody else shared a video with the caption: “How UNREAL are these @River Island platform ugg [lookalikes], definitely a winter essential!”
