Rival ‘lurking’ as Man Utd star ‘waits for great return’ this summer
According to reports, two clubs are in the race to sign Man Utd midfielder Paul Pogba during the summer transfer window.
The Frenchman returned to the Red Devils in 2016 from Juventus. They splashed out a world-record fee as Pogba was brought back for over £89m.

The midfielder has been regularly criticised over the past few years as he has not consistently impressed in the Premier League.
Pogba is expected to depart Man Utd this summer as his contract is set to expire at the end of the 2021/22 season.
Tuttosport (via Sport Witness) are reporting that Juventus and PSG are the sides leading the chase for Pogba.
It is stated that the player prefers a move back to Juventus as he is ‘waiting for the great return’.
But it is believed that Pogba is not against joining PSG and they are ‘lurking’ in the background.
They add that if he would join PSG, he wants to ‘be sure that there is no hope’ of returning to Juventus.
Meanwhile, Shaun Goater believes Man City “forced” Man Utd into signing Cristiano Ronaldo last summer:
“I’ve got to be honest, I never thought Cristiano Ronaldo’s return was going to be a great thing for Manchester United,” Goater said.
“I knew he’d score goals, but I also knew that he’d take away from the shine of the future, and the youngsters they have. I didn’t think the rest of the team would score goals as a direct result of him signing; someone was going to suffer.
