Rio Ferdinand Was Left Stunned After Hearing Kylian Mbappe Speak Perfect English In Their First Meeting

PSG face Real Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League tie this evening and they take a 1-0 aggregate lead to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Mbappe scored in that game and it means he's played a key role in Mauricio Pochettino's side potential route to the quarter-finals, no matter what.

Ferdinand spoke to Pochettino and Mbappe ahead of the game and it's the first time he's ever met the latter.

The pair embraced and Ferdinand asked how the 23-year-old was, to which he replied: "I'm okay thank you."

Mbappe quickly fired back: "It's not bad," before letting out a wry smile with Pochettino.

There are fears Mbappe won't be fit enough to start after suffering a foot injury in training.

It was feared Mbappe had suffered a fracture, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

He faces a race to be fit to play against Madrid, who he may potentially play for next season.

Gueye was relentlessly attacked on social media and forced to turn off comments on his Instagram page.

Mbappe condemned the abuse in a post, with Gueye tagged, which reads: "All together. Always. This is Paris."

Pochettinho was asked about Mbappe's future at the club earlier this week and he remains confident he'll stay in Paris.

"He already declared that it was not the time to make a decision and let's wait for him to make a statement. Everything else is conjecture, and guessing things that may be very far from reality.

"[Mbappe] lives in the present, he is involved in what he does and that is an important quality that he has as a human being."
