Rio Ferdinand's "battered" claim proves spot on as Chelsea stumble against Real Madrid

Rio Ferdinand's grim pre-match prediction for Chelsea rang true as the Blues were thumped for the second time in five days after falling to a 3-1 defeat against Real Madrid in their Champions League quarter final first-leg tie.
