Rico Lewis sends classy message to Oscar Bobb after devastating Man City injury blow

Rico Lewis has sent a message of support to Oscar Bobb after it emerged the Manchester City midfielder is set for a spell on the sidelines through injury.

Bobb was expected to play a big part in Pep Guardiola's side this season, particularly following Julian Alvarez's exit, though has fractured his leg and is now facing a minimum of three months out of the team. Bobb played 89 minutes of the Sky Blues' Community Shield victory over Manchester United and was due to start the Premier League season on the right wing, building on the electric form he had shown during pre-season. Supporters will now have to remain patient to see the former Valerenga star in action, who will no doubt be devastated by this unfortunate blow.

Guardiola was left impressed by the performance of Bobb during the recent Community Shield win after watching him set up Bernardo Silva's equaliser, though stressed he was hopeful of seeing even more quality from the No.52. in the future. "We want more," said the City boss.

"Sometimes he had the chance to take the ball and go and he was a little bit passive. He
