Richard Madeley stuns GMB co-stars with four-word response over 2024 I'm A Celebrity line-up
Richard Madeley left his Good Morning Britain co-stars floored on Tuesday as he discussed the 2024 I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! line-up.
This week saw the grand reveal of the ten celebs set to venture into the jungle alongside presenters Ant and Dec, creating significant buzz around who will vie for the coveted title of King or Queen of the Jungle.
Celebrities gearing up for challenges and long nights under the Australian stars include Coleen Rooney, Tulisa Contostavlos, Oti Mabuse, Alan Halsall, Dean McCullough, Melvin Odoom, Barry McGuigan, Jane Moore, GK Barry, and Danny Jones.
While discussing this year's participants on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain, Richard, 68, said in a four word response that it's "probably the strongest in years".
He said: "We've all been talking here and collectively reckon that the cast line-up for this year's I'm A Celebrity is probably the strongest in years!"
Susanna Reid, his co-host, chipped in saying: "And Richard says that as someone who was in I'm A Celebrity line-up!" which led to Richard quipping: "I bow to superior [line-up]", reports the Mirror.
I'm A Celebrity fans might recall that Richard became part of the show's cast back in 2021 when it was temporarily moved to Gwrych Castle in North Wales as a response to the then pandemic constraints.
However, a brief illness forced Richard to exit the show early, breaching the Covid safety bubble due to a necessary hospital visit, resulting in his departure from the camp.
At the time, Richard expressed his disappointment but acknowledged that leaving early was for the best. "Hello all!" he started off in a 2021 Instagram post.
