Richard Arnold conference call LIVE updates as Manchester United chief speaks to investors

Manchester United chief executive Richard Arnold will speak to investors on a conference call on Thursday afternoon.

Arnold was installed as Ed Woodward's successor earlier this year, receiving a promotion from his role as the club's group managing director. Arnold is a Bristol University graduate, just like Woodward, and his background is in accounting.

Arnold will discuss the club's Q4 financial results with shareholders this afternoon and he's set to speak at 1pm BST.

United will release a statement prior to the call and they'll reveal their financial figures.

“Our financial results for fiscal 2022 reflect a recovery from thepandemic, a full return of fans and new commercial partnerships offset by increased investment in the playing squad.2Our results have been adversely affected by the absence of a summer tour in July 2021, material exceptional andincreased utility costs, and the impact of the weakening of sterling on our non-cash finance costs. Looking forward tofiscal 2023, the Club is guiding to revenues of £580 million to £600 million despite participation in the Europa League,and adjusted EBITDA of £100 million to £110 million, reflecting the continued playing squad investment.”
