Ric Flair lays challenge down to Vince McMahon for one final fight

2022 has already seen a return match for Stone Cold Steve Austin, but now Ric Flair had made one final challenge – and has Vince McMahon in his sights.

The 73-year-old is set to finally hang-up his famous wrestling boots later this year, when he competes in his final match at a Jim Crockett promotions event on Sunday 31 July – the night after WWE hosts SummerSlam.

It wouldn’t be the first time the two wrestling legends have shared a ring, in fact they’ve faced off three times previously in WWE. The first clashed in a Street Fight at the 2002 Royal Rumble, before McMahon defeated The Nature Boy months later to gain complete ownership of the company.

Their last meeting came during a tag team match on SmackDown in 2002, where Vince teamed with Kurt Angle to face Flair and his partner future Evolution stablemate. However, if Flair had his way, we could see them battle one last time
