Rhys McClenaghan claims gold medal in men's pommel horse final

Rhys McClenaghan has won a gold medal in the pommel horse at the Paris Olympics.

The gymnast earned a score of 15.533 to top the bill ahead of athletes from Kazakhstan and the USA.

The two-time world champion missed out on a medal in Tokyo but got his golden moment here.

It is Ireland's third gold medal of the games after Daniel Wiffin's win in the 800m freestyle and Paul O'Donovan and Fintan McCarthy's win in the men's lightweight double sculls.
